Destination resorts aren’t just for well-heeled guests and conventioneers. Visitors are welcomed to peruse shops and restaurants. The best resorts are botanical gardens, museums, and architectural wonders all rolled into one (see No Worries Hawaii guide, page 108). Public beach access facilities at resorts usually are better than at government-run beach parks. In the evenings, and also during the day, you may enjoy cultural events and luau entertainment.
